Queen City Ex

The CP Women’s Open will be hosted at the Wascana Country Club, an 18-hole champion golf course that has hosted more than thirty notable championships over the past century. Every year, the CP Women’s Open raises funds for a charity in its host city. This year’s event will raise funds for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.

Regina Dragon Boat Festival

The Regina Dragon Boat Festival has been running since 1992. This free Regina festival is held each year in Wascana Park. This beautiful cultural event attracts close to 2,000 paddlers and more than 20,000 spectators each year.

The Dragon boat festival comes from Chinese culture. Those who attend will be able to see a dragon dance performed by the Chung Wah Kung Fu and try traditional Chinese food. In the Dragon’s Nest, there are crafts and play areas for kids to explore. Live entertainment will be provided over the course of the day.
